Crossroads
The Maladype Theatre launched its “Crossroads” project in 2011. The program’s main goal is to present artistic directions, theatres and workshops that represent new trends in cultural life, enhance new artistic initiatives, help in establishing new ways of contacts with the audience and foster ties among different countries. That way the European independent theatres are given the possibility to cooperate and establish a network that helps them in creating new meeting points for dialogue and interaction.
The Maladype Theatre has benefited a lot from its international ties: by establishing them it has the possibility to get acquainted with various theatrical troupes, traditions and institutions. We consider our important task also to present new trends, and young talents to our spectators. We invite theatres and performances that can adapt easily themselves to our location and technical conditions.
ELEVATOR - boys will be boys
The elevator is a narrow space where people get on and off, going up and down without getting in touch with each other. The elevator is always on the move. But if suddenly it gets stuck on the way, anything can happen.
Elevator explores the possibilities of a small, tight space and creates a dynamic and intense atmosphere for the three performers.

Studio M was established in 2005 in Sfântu Gheorghe as an experimental movement theatre company that speaks about the world in a specific language born from the fluctuation between physical theatre, contemporary dance, visuality, respectively poetic and dramatic theatre. The company is continuously searching for new ways of expression.
Ferenc Fehér is an independent and defining figure in the Hungarian dance theatre scene, his works being appreciated worldwide at international dance and theatre festivals. His unmistakable aesthetics and suggestive style originates from the combination of freestyle dance, animal-like and martial arts movements. From 2013 he is working as a recurrent choreographer at Studio M.
