Tamás Tarján: Eighty Minutes Etude
"Eight black thonett chairs among thirty pink flamingos. Between the thonett-flamingos, flamingo-chairs girls are dressing, and boys are striping to the waist. They are experimenting with themselves, each other and others. We see boyish-girlish curiosity and naughty smiles from the time before history. Continuous restlessness can be felt around, which is disciplined into sequence of movements – more or less with Ravel’s music in the background, and of course with Bolero at the end.
Brilliant team-work from Éva Bakos, Hermina Fátyol, Kamilla Fátyol, Ákos Orosz, Zoltán Lendváczky, Zsolt Páll, Katalin Simkó és Ádám Tompa: one-line theater, from time to time spreading and repeated patterns. The string of epical scenes - without specific stories but with full of content -, which are imparting different ancient behaviour- and relationship-patterns, the smooth choreography were born in the mind of Zoltán Balázs the wonder-working director drunk of dream-world nectars. In order that the members of Maladype should live, turn, fall, slide this material into mud, gold, golden-mud."
